For Immediate Hire – Rapidly expanding business is looking for bartenders that are ready to grow with the company. Currently serving Bar/Lounge & Night Club. Main Job Tasks and Responsibilities
- Prepare restaurant tables with special attention to sanitation and order
- Attend to customers upon entrance
- Present restaurant menus and help customers select food/beverages
- Take/serve orders and answer questions or make recommendations for other products
- Collaborate with other restaurant servers and kitchen/bar staff
- Deal with complaints or problems with a positive attitude
- Issue bills and accept payment
- Promote dedication from customers
- Providing excellent wait service to ensure satisfaction
- Making menu recommendation, answering questions and sharing additional information with restaurant patrons
Requirements
Proven restaurant serving or waitering experience
- Problem solving and decision making skills
- Hands on experience with POS systems
- Excellent people skills
- Responsible and trustworthy
- Attention to cleanliness and safety
- High school diploma; food safety training will be considered a plus
- Basic math skills
- Attentiveness and patience for customers
- Excellent presentation skills
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills
- Active listening and effective communication skills
Required experience
- 2 + years serving in a restaurant/bar
- Must be at least 21 years of age
Required license or certification
- Valid Driver’s License and own transportation
- ServSafe Certification a plus
Work Hours
- Tuesday to Saturday, 4 to 10 PM
